David decided to use his extensive experience (more than 40 years!) in the newspaper industry to set-up Drag+drop with his son, James, back in 1999. Having been exposed to the inner workings of the industry for over four decades, David was uniquely placed to know what the industry needed and build a team able to deliver this. David (along with James), is responsible for Operational Planning and ensuring the machine runs smoothly. Outside the office, David enjoys a round of golf.

After refining his talents at Apple, James set-up Drag+drop with his father, David, back in 1999. James is in charge of product development. When not working, James spends his time with his wife and 3 children, and occasionally fighting monsters and blasting zombies. (Note: on his computer!)

Following his computing diploma in 2004, John joined Drag+drop. He liked it so much, he decided to stay. John, along with James, is responsible for Product Development. Away from a monitor, John supports Southend United FC and goes to the gym (sometimes).

Dan enrolled at Drag+drop in August 2006, the same time as Scott. And like Scott, Dan provides support to our customers. He also trains new and existing customers ensuring they get the most out of our products. Outside of work, Dan can be found (if that’s the right word!) travelling the globe, riding his bike (locally) and supporting Liverpool FC.

Scott, like Dan, enrolled at Drag+drop in August 2006. Like Dan, Scott gives our customers support when they need it. And he supports us in the office - getting our computers to work and ensuring they stay working. Although in front of a monitor all day, Scott often spends his time afterwork doing the very same: whether its watching TV on BBC iPlayer, watching comedy clips on YouTube, surfin’ the net or playing on his Xbox, or getting it to perform some other duty.

The new recruit having joined the team in September 2008. Ray’s in charge of the pretty bits - whether it’s websites, interfaces, stationary or adverts - and delves into the not so pretty bits (code) from time to time. Beyond the confines of the office, Ray spends his time photographing anything that moves, perfecting his culinary skills and bringing old furniture back to life.

The most recent recruit. Alan brings to Drag+drop an important programming skill-set comprising PHP and MySQL. He also brings his love of computers, video games and DDR (that's Dance Dance Revolution to you and me).

Having worked closely with David Wright in managerial positions throughout the newspaper sector, David Lawson joined Drag+drop in October 2007. David spends most of his time out of the office meeting existing customers and getting to know our new customers. Aware of our customers needs, David’s expertly placed to ensure they get the right product for them. When not travelling the length and breadth of the country, David can be found up a mountain, down the gym, in the snooker hall or out supporting Huddersfield Town.

Frances ensures the finances are in order. When not doing this, she spends her time at art class and generally enjoying the east Essex coast.
